Queer money™ LGBT Podcast Episode 61 – “5 Steps to Prepare for Financial Emergencies While You Sleep”
We realized that the things we really wanted in life were being prevented by the debt we had taken on. – John Schneider
Nowadays, many of us think that acquiring things and gaining experiences make life enjoyable. But these facts are often obscured by our financial situation, leading to an ongoing cycle of overspending and increasing financial insecurity.
One of our biggest realizations after paying off our debt was how much money we actually had if we didn’t have to pay $10,000 in interest. We made more money than we realized, but it wasn’t obvious since we spent thousands on interest payments.
Queer money™ LGBT Podcast Episode 70 – “Retraining Your Brain”
If you implicitly believe that you can’t do it, but tell other people that you can, then that’s chaos. – JR Badian
There must be a real agreement with what you are saying to the universe or to God, to yourself and to others. When there is doubt in your soul, it destroys your personal progress. If there is an implicit “I can’t,” don’t give it your all. Your success will not be to the extent you would like, or it will take longer than it otherwise would have.
Queer money™ LGBT Podcast Episode 60 – “How to Live Fabulously, According to Patrick L. Riley”
You can live your best life as is… It all depends on the lens through which you experience it, and it all depends on the lens through which you record it. I try to experience and record the space of possibility and positivity. –Patrick L Riley
Too many of us today are consumed by our circumstances. But as Lisa Nichols says, our circumstances are not a life sentence. We can overcome them. If someone has achieved what we want to achieve in similar circumstances to us, our attitude is the reason we don’t succeed. Patrick’s story makes this clear.
Queer money™ LGBT Podcast Episode 74 – “IM Creative Leaders Talk About Being in Love and Doing Business as a Gay Couple”
Our money isn’t covered in glitter or pink when it comes out of our wallet. It looks the same as everyone else’s. But the strange thing about our money is the responsibility we have for where we invest the money at any given time. –Shannon Morrison
