Prelude to a Queer Money Kiss from a Rose

Prelude to a Queer money Kiss from a rose

Prelude to a Queer money “Kiss from a Rose” makes absolutely no sense Queer money™ Episode title, but it’s the last day of 2017, I’m tired, I’ve had four margins, and I’m on my way to a New Year’s Eve party shortly. But, Queer money™ will be great in 2018. Hear why.

Prelude to a Queer money Kiss from a rose in 2018

Firstly: Happy New Year and a happy 2018! 2018 is a big deal for the Debt Free Guys™ personally. By January 3rd we will have sold our condo and moved into an apartment in downtown Denver. On July 1st we take the first of many business and private trips, this one to Los Angeles and Palm Springs. We have several brand partnerships to announce this year. We will be in Puerto Vallarta in April, married in June, and traveling to Ireland and Spain for five weeks around September 12th.

Phew! Now hear what Debt Free Guys™ expects and Queer money™:

2018 prelude to Queer money kiss

So WTF is a prelude to a Queer money Kiss?

We’ve already recorded some amazing things Queer money™ Podcasts we will release in 2018. In January alone, you’ll hear from Melissa “the Money Coach” Thomas. Despite being as straight as a straight person gets, Melissa constantly does the gayest thing ever. She got herself and her family out of thousands of dollars in debt and is now saving a lot of money, mostly to go on tour with Elton John.

We then interview Alana Bochum from Ohio Business Competes. In 29 states, queer people can still be fired and denied housing and services simply because they are queer. Among the many problems these injustices pose is that they place an undue financial burden on queer people. Alana’s organization is fighting to change these laws in Ohio.

You’ll also hear from Chad Anderson, a journalist turned self-made documentary filmmaker. Chad’s passion is telling the story of the life and murder of Gordon Church. Church was raped, tortured and murdered in 1988 because of his homosexuality. At that time, our country was not ready to talk about such attacks on our community. It is important that our community does not forget them now.

That’s only January! There’s a lot more to come in 2018.

What awaits Debt Free Guys™?

Every day – and by that I mean within the next two months – DebtFreeGuys.com will be revised. We’ve taken your feedback into account and simplified our website to make it easier for you to understand and find what you want and need, when you want and need it.

We will be announcing some exciting brand partnerships in early 2018. Queer people keep saying that we don’t trust financial services brands to know how to or want to help us. You will quickly find that there are several financial services companies and other companies that would like to assist us.

Towards the end of March and beginning of April we are launching Debt Free Guys™ Queer money™ Rejuvenation treatment. Again, we’ve used your feedback to create something that gives you the help you want with your money.

The Queer money™ Makeover is an online course (videos, exercises and readings) that will first help you pay off your debt and start living a fabulous life, not fabulously broke. We will add more Queer money™ Redesign, but most of 2018 will be focused on debt. Stay tuned for more information soon.

Finally, join the private one Queer money™ Facebook group

We have big plans for 2018 the private Queer money™ Facebook group. Firstly, if you don’t know we have a private one Queer money™ Facebook group, you’re missing out. This is a group of (mostly) queer people who work to live fabulously, not fabulously broke. There are several money professionals who can help you with any money questions you may have, and many more Queer money™ Facebook members with the same questions as you. You should join us.

In addition to our weekly #DFGLives on our Debt Free Guys™ Facebook wall, we are soon launching a private #DFGLive in our private area Queer money™ Facebook group. These are mostly question-and-answer sessions and one-on-one conversations with money professionals who will answer all your money questions.
