Josh Stoffregen is VP of Global Communications & Workplace Solutions at Prudential Financial. He joined the team in 2009 and served as project lead for the company’s 2012 LGBT Financial Experience Survey. Josh also served as President of Prudential’s corporate LGBT organization from 2010 to 2014. Today he joins us to share the results of the company’s latest research, the 2018 Financial Wellness Census and its sub-study across diverse populations, The Cut.
Josh walks us through the numbers and talks about the areas in which the queer community has made progress over the last decade, as well as our remaining challenges when it comes to financial well-being. He thinks about what prevents the general population of the United States – and the LGBTQ community in particular – from achieving financial security.
