So, first of all, visit the official website of Thrive Themes and buy a plan. In this case, we get the Thrive Leads plan.
Once you have purchased a plan, log in to your Thrive Themes account and navigate to Members area. Here’s a quick guide to setting up the Thrive Themes tools, as well as a YouTube video if you’re looking for visual learning.
They offer such detailed tutorials on setting up Thrive Themes tools because the process is slightly different than installing other WordPress plugins.
To use Thrive Themes tools, you need to install them Thrive Product Manager Plugin. This plugin then helps you install and set up all Thrive Themes products directly in your WordPress dashboard.
So, from the Members Area page, download the Thrive Product Manager Plugin and save it to your desktop.

After that, go to your WordPress dashboard and install the plugin like any other.

Adjustment
Now, Thrive Leads has plenty of customizations to help you and your team have a smooth experience with the plugin. However, because Thrive Leads is a product of Thrive Themes, many customization options relate to personalizing your experience with the Thrive Suite as a product group.
First, you can manage access for your team.
You can assign different levels of access to specific team members depending on their role in your company. To do this, go to your “Thrive Dashboard” in your WordPress backend and navigate to Thrive features.
Here you will find numerous setting and individualization options. In fact, this is the main page you will use to personalize your Thrive Themes tools. So, in the list of options for managing roles, find and select “Manage Access.”

You can also access the “Smart Site” function under Thrive Features.
This helps you add global fields throughout the site for use when creating content. For example, you can add company details such as name, address, phone number, email address, and alternate phone number.
You can also conveniently add legal documentation, e.g. B. the privacy policy, disclaimer, general terms and conditions and contact. Below that, Thrive Leads allows you to add links to your social accounts like Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and more.
If you want to add global fields that are not in the list, you can use the +Add Field button.

Another interesting feature of Thrive Themes that you can use in Thrive Leads is creating a custom WordPress login page.
All you have to do is activate the feature with a toggle key. You then use Thrive Architect, another product from Thrive Themes, to customize the login page.

Thrive Leads is designed to be very easy for you to use. It comes with numerous templates from which you can design and create your opt-in form in just a few minutes. You get a drag-and-drop builder to help you customize these templates, making the process even easier.
Additionally, Thrive Leads also offers 10 highly engaging opt-in types to invite users to subscribe to your email list.
- Popup lightbox: A pop-up lightbox appears (pops up) above your content, prompting your website visitors to fill out the form and log in.
- Tape: The sticky band stays at the top of the screen even when the user scrolls down the page.

A lead group is a form or group of forms that you can display globally on your website or in a specific post category. You can also add multiple form types to a lead group.
The reason Thrive Leads groups your opt-in forms into groups is to make it easier for you to manage them and improve targeted marketing and A/B testing. It also lets you quickly define custom display rules so you can display specific forms to different users.
To begin creating a lead group, select the “Add New” button.

When your form type is selected, Thrive Leads will prompt you with the “Next Step: Add Form” command highlighted. All you have to do is select this option.

Once you select a template, Thrive Leads will redirect you to the drag-and-drop builder to customize your opt-in form.

However, this is not a drag-and-drop builder that is unique to Thrive Leads. In fact, it is a built-in page builder, Thrive Architect, another product from Thrive Themes. This ensures that you can easily use all the features of these two Thrive Themes products.
This allows you to visually edit all form elements. Additionally, you can customize your text by clicking on it.
We’ll show you how to use this drag-and-drop optin form builder.
You will find all elements on the left and the preview on the right. To add any element to the page, drag and drop it from the element list on the left to the preview window on the right.
However, since you are using a template, you can also replace the existing elements in the preview window to ensure that the design remains intact.
Thrive Leads allows you to change and personalize every element of the page.
You can set fonts, formats, sizes, colors and more for the text. Additionally, you can customize layout and position, background style, borders and corners, scrolling behavior, and more.

In the next popup window, you can decide to add the opt-in form in different ways. First, you can use checkboxes to choose whether to display it on the homepage, all pages, 404 error pages, etc.
