I have been building WordPress sites for over a decade.
During this time I helped dozens of coaches, content manufacturers, educators and small entrepreneurs with their audience online via video.
Apart from that, I had many video meetings for interviews, training and other purposes via zoom.
At first I sent zoom links manually by e -mail and it was a nightmare. Customers would lose links, forget the meeting times or completely miss the registration periods.
I also spent countless hours every week with which meeting to which meeting. Between life and the course of Isitwp.com, this was an enormous waste of time.
There had to be a better way.
I mean, there is always a solution out there when you look hard enough. Right? The search for the integration of zoom meetings and webinars in WordPress was not that helpful.
But just then I discovered WordPress Automation plugins and a light bulb went out in my head. I had my Eureka moment when I realized that I was able to connect Zoom to my website with Uncanny Automator.
If someone fills out a contact form, they are automatically added to the correct meeting. If a customer buys a course, he is immediately registered for the Welcome Webinar.
It is as if he has a personal assistant who never sleeps.
After testing dozens of plugins and methods, I found the perfect solution in Uncanny Automator. And today I will show you exactly how to combine Zoom with your WordPress site for easy planning.
You will save hours every week and give your visitors a smooth, professional experience that you will love.
What you will learn in this guide
Here is exactly what we will cover step by step:
- So install and set up an eerie automator for WordPress
- The right way to configure your zoom account for integration
- How to connect zoom meetings and webinars to your WordPress site
- Add users to automatically zoom in meetings according to form submissions
- Register people for webinars if you fill out forms
- Add customers to webinars after making purchases
- Bonus: Use Google Meeting as an alternative solution
After this is said, we go into this tutorial.
Why integrate zoom meetings and webinars into WordPress?
First, It saves great time quantities. Before automation, I spent 2-3 hours every week to meet the meeting registrations.
Now everything happens automatically.
If someone registers for my newsletter, they will be invited to my monthly Q&A meeting. If a customer books a consultation, you will be added to the right meeting immediately.
Your visitors also enjoy a smooth experience. You do not have to wait for manual e -mail confirmations or worry that you will lose conference links.
And everything happens correctly on your website. They fill out and out a form Boom – you are registered and ready to go!
In addition, you can increase your sales with this setup. I automatically add people to special webinars based on their purchases.
Has anyone bought my beginner course? You will be invited to the “First steps” webinar. Advanced course buyers go directly to the expert meetings.
The best thing about it? You can capture leads and deliver value at the same time. Any submission, purchase or membership registration can trigger a meeting invitation.
It is as if every interaction is being transformed into a chance to personally connect with your audience.
At ISITWP we use exactly this system for our team meetings, customer calls and training. It was a game change, organized and competent.
Let us set up your system now so that you can experience these advantages.
What you need before you start
Before we immerse ourselves with the Setup process, we make sure that you have finished everything. Trust me, if you put these pieces first, you will later save a headache.
Zoom Pro-account + webinars add-on

Here is the thing with zoom – the free version does not work for this integration. You need a Zoom Pro accountwhich begins at $ 13.33 per month.
To host webinars (not only meetings), you need the webinar add-on for an additional $ 79 per month.
I know it seems to be a lot in advance. However, think about this – you will receive professional meeting tools and automation that saves hours a week.
For most companies I know, these advance costs pay off quickly.
WordPress admin access

You need complete administrator access to your WordPress site. This means that you can install plugins and change settings.
If you are not the site owner, ask for administrator rights before starting. Nevertheless, they don’t change many settings.
Most of it is point-and-click.
Uncanny automator Pro -Plugin

This is the magical WordPress automation -Plugin that connects everything. A free version is availableBut it is limited to five recipes and ideal for testing the water.
That is why we use the Uncanny automator per versionwhich begins at only 149 US dollars a year. Unlimited automation recipes with the full feature set and excellent support are delivered.
Trust me, you want more recipes when you see what this power package of automation plugin can do.
To see what I mean, read my updated Uncanny Automator evaluation to get more information.
Wpforms plugin

We will use Wpforms This is how you create the contact forms that trigger your zoom invitations. The free version works perfectly for basic forms.
However, if you want extended functions such as conditional logic, you need Wpforms Pro.
Take a look at these detailed Wpforms check to see everything it can.
Additional considerations:
After we have met the requirements, we pass to the actual integration process.
How to integrate zoom meetings and webinars into WordPress
This is where the funny part comes – actually everything. I will guide you through every step as I do for my customers.
I will also share a few tricks that I have learned that make this process smoothly and flawlessly.
The entire setup takes about 25 – 30 minutes if you keep up step by step. Apart from that, as soon as it is finished, you have a system that automatically works for months without maintenance.
Let’s start installing and configuring the right plugin.
Step 1: Install and activate the uncanny Automator plugin for WordPress
The most important thing first – we have to have an eerie automator installed on your WordPress site.
Uncanny Automator is one of the best WordPress automation plugins with which you can connect hundreds of apps (including zoom) to WordPress.
Consider it as a zapier, but for WordPress.
Go to the Official Uncanny Automator website and hit the Get a scary automator now Button.

In this way, she leads to the price page on which you can choose a plan that is perfect for your business requirements.
Install and activate the eerie automator on your WordPress website like any other plugin.
If you need help, you may want to read our instructions for installing a WordPress plugin.
As soon as you have installed and activated the plugin, go to Automator »Settings From the WordPress admin menu to enter your license key.
Do not forget to select them afterwards Activate license Button.

This unlock all functions for zoom integration. You will also receive access to hundreds of other app integrations that you can use later.
The plugin setup is now complete. Next we have to prepare your zoom account for integration.
Step 2: Set up your zoom account correctly
First of all, make sure that you have registered in your Zoom Pro account. As already mentioned, the free account does not support integrations for meetings and webinars.
Then open a new browser tab and go to marketplace.zoom.us. This is Zoom’s app marketplace on which developer and WordPress site owner how to create custom integrations.
Search for that Develop Menu in the upper right corner of the side. Select it, then select Create app From the dropdown menu.

On the next page you can see different app types. We want Server-to-server-Oauth Because it is the safest option for automation. So choose Create Under this option.

Zoom asks you to name her app. Make it descriptive so that you remember what it is later. In my case, I called the app “Connect Zoom with WordPress”. Once finished, beat Create.

Then Zoom will redirect it to the first screen: App registration information. Here the video meeting tool contains the special codes that have to make an incredibly automator.
You will see three important information:
- Account -ID (a long series of letters and numbers)
- Client -id (Again a long series of letters and numbers)
- Customer secrecy (Another long string – keep it private!)
Copy these three codes and add them to a text file or notes app. We need you later when we connect everything. Also keep the customer secret – it’s like a password for your zoom account.
As soon as you have sorted it, click the “Next” button.

If you click on “Next”, you will lead to the next important screen – App information. Fill out the required fields here:
- App -Name: Connect zoom to WordPress (or whatever you choose)
- Brief description: App connects zoom with WordPress site for meetings and webinars
- Company Name: Your company name
- Developer contact information: Your name and your e -mail address
After filling out the details, meet “Next”.

On the next page, Features, Do nothing. Simply click on the “Next” button.
Before we leave zoom, we have to set the right app authorizations. So on the Areas Screen that comes next, press the Add areas Button.

And add these permissions:
- Meet: write (Create meetings)
- Meet: read (to get meeting details)
- Webinar: Write (How to create webinars)
- Webinar: Read (To get webinar details)
- User: read (To get user information)
It should look like this:

Next, choose Completed To save your circumferential settings. Finally it strikes Continue The button that leads to a screen on which your zoom app is displayed is now ready to connect to WordPress.
Then activate your new zoom app.

Take a look at that! You have just created a zoom app with which you can connect to WordPress. Now let’s take a look at how to create a zoom meeting or a webinar so that we can connect it to WordPress.
Step 3: Create a new zoom meeting
Now let’s create a meeting that people can take from your WordPress site.
Register with your zoom account and search for the “Template” button in your dashboard. It is usually exactly upside down where you cannot miss it.

Then press “schedule” and you will see a form with all your meeting options. Fill out the basic details such as your meeting topic and your description. Make it clear what the meeting is about so that people know what to expect.
The most important part is the “When” section. You can plan it for a specific date and a certain time. Or you can make it a recurring meeting that takes place regularly.

If you want the same meeting to take place every week or every month, check the “Recurring meeting” field. This is perfect for things like weekly team calls or monthly webinars.
Don’t forget to “save” when you’re done. Zoom creates your meeting and gives you a meeting ID cards. Write down this number – you will later need for the WordPress connection.
That’s it.
How do you create a zoom webinar?
This is ideal for larger target groups where you present several people at once.
You will take similar steps to set up a webinar. Let me list quickly if you have difficulties.
- Go to the webinars tab
- In your zoom dashboard “webinars” under the left menu.
- If you are missing, you have to add the webinar add-on.
- Click on “Plan a webinar”
- This starts the webinar setup process.
- Enter webinar details
- Add a catchy title, a catchy description and select your date and time.
- Activate registration
- Scroll for the “Registration” section.
- Activate the check box designated with “required”.
- Adjust registration fields
- Select what information is to be collected (e.g. name, e -mail, company).
- Keep it briefly to increase registrations.
- Choose “Save”.
- Zoom automatically generates a webinar ID and a registration page.
- Use the registration link
- Share the Zoom page directly or bed a custom form on your WordPress site.
Well done! You can now set up a zoom meeting and a webinar.
Step 4: Connect zoom meetings and webinars to WordPress
Now comes the funny part: connect your zoom events to WordPress. Everything starts to work together automatically.
The first thing to do in this step is to add the eerie automator zoom integration.
Go back to your WordPress administrator area and go to Machine » App integrations. You can see a long list of services that can combine scary automator. Search for “Zoom -Meetings” here.
It should be at the bottom because they are listed alphabetically. Select it to open the connection settings.
You will see a form that asks about your zoom -api registration information. Do you remember the three codes that we used to save? Here we use them.
So add your account -id to the first field. Then add your client -id and client secret in the next two boxes.
After completing the “Connect Zoom Meetings Account” and wait a few seconds.

Then Uncanny Automator tests the connection to ensure that everything works properly.
If you want to integrate zoom webinars, press the “Zoom webinars” menu option in a similar way.
Then add the same “Account -ID”, “Client -ID” and “Client Secret” registration information that you used above, just as you did with the meeting connection.
Then click on the “Webinar account” “Webinars Connect” button.

That’s it! You have just connected zoom with WordPress via Uncanny Automator.
From here you can create “recipes” that trigger actions in zoom when an action is carried out on your WordPress site.
For example, if someone fills out a form, they can automatically be added to a meeting.
Let us learn how to do it.
After completing the form in WordPress, add users to a zoom meeting
Now let us create your first automation using a contact form. If users fill out a form on your website, you will be automatically added to your zoom meeting.
Step 1: Create the WordPress shape
First, we need a form on your WordPress site. I’ll show you how to do it Wpforms Because it works perfectly with an eerie automator.
You can get the best offers for this form builder by checking our WPFORMS coupon page.
As soon as you have set up this form plugin, go to your WordPress dashboard and choose Add Wpforms »new form. Then enter your form name and select “Simple contact form” as a start template.
This gives you the basic fields you need.

Then they are redirected to the drag & drop form builder. The standard fields are perfect for our zoom integration and the reason why I went with this form template.
The fields contain names, e -mail and message. However, you can add more fields if you want.
It is important that you have at least these two fields:
- Name (first and last)
- E-mail address
These details are required for zoom registrations without which automation does not work properly.

You may also want to insert a field by asking what you want to discuss. This helps you to better prepare for the meeting. All you have to do is pull and drop fields on the left to the preview screen on the right.
You can also reorganize the order of the fields as you want.

As soon as your form looks good, press “Save” in the top right.
To publish your form, you can either embed in a new or existing page or use your shortcode.

At this point you have a shape provided that is perfect for zoom integration.
Step 2: Set up the automation recipe
Now let us create the automation that connects your form to the zoom.
Go to Automator »Add new recipe In your WordPress administrator. This opens the recipe builder in which you create your automation.
First select “registered users” or “everyone”, depending on who can fill out your form. For contact forms, I usually choose “all” because you want someone to be able to reach.

Next you have to add a trigger. This says Uncanny Automator what action should start automation. Press “Add trigger” and look for “Wpforms”.

After completion, select “A user from a form” from the WPFORMS options. Then select your specific form in the dropdown menu.

Now add an action – that happens after someone has submitted the form. Click on “Add action” and look for “Zoom meetings”.
You will see several zoom options. Select “Add a user to a meeting” because we want to register people for your zoom meeting.

Next, you need to provide automation which meeting should be used. Select your meeting from the dropdown list. If you don’t see it, make sure that your zoom connection works properly.
Step 3: Test the full workflow
Before you make this eerie automation recipe live, test everything to make sure it works.
In the recipe builder, make sure that all your fields are correctly assigned.
The e -mail field from your form should be connected to the zoom -e -e -mail field and the field of the name should also be assigned to the corresponding field.
Uncanny Automator usually leads this automatically, but twice to be safe.
Now publish your recipe by pressing the “Draft/Live” button in the upper right corner. Your automation is now live and ready to work.
Test it by filling out your form with your information. Use a real E -Mail address so that you can determine whether the zoom registration -E email arrives.
Also check your zoom account to determine whether you are displayed as a registrant for the meeting. If everything worked, you should see your name and e -mail in the list of meetings participants.
If something didn’t work, check these common problems:
- Expert fields not correctly assigned
- The zoom meeting -id is wrong
- E -mail address format problems
As soon as you see the test registration in zoom, you know that everything works perfectly. Your visitors can now automatically join your meetings by filling out your contact form.

Congratulations! You can now connect ZOOM to your WordPress site to Host meetings and webinars. If something is unclear, read the frequently asked questions below.
FAQs: How to integrate zoom meetings and webinars into WordPress
Do I need Zoom Pro for WordPress integration?
Yes, you need zoom pro so that this works. The free zoom account does not allow third-party integrations like Uncanny Automator.
Zoom Pro Cloud recordings also give you what is super useful for your company. You can record meetings and share them with people who could not participate.
If you want to run webinars, you also need the webinar add-on. This costs extra, but offers you registration management and participant controls.
Can I use the free version of Uncanny Automator?
No, the free version of Uncanny Automator does not work for zoom integration. You need the Pro version to connect to external services such as zoom.
The Pro version also offers you unlimited automation. With the free version you are limited to just 5 recipes.
What happens to my eerie automotive flow if someone doesn’t show up to the meeting?
The automation still works perfectly. People are registered in zoom whether they appear or not. You don’t have to do anything special to cope with NO shows.
Zoom follows who joined and who does not. You can see these reports in your zoom dashboard after each meeting.
Apart from that, you can record your meetings and send the recording to people you missed. This ensures additional value and keeps people busy with their video content.
Can I automate follow-up emails according to webinars?
Absolutely. This is one of my preferred automations. You can send different e -mails to people who were present compared to those who have not done it.
Create a new recipe in Uncanny Automator that triggers when someone visits a zoom webinar. Then add an action to send a thank you email with additional resources.
You can create a separate automation for people who have registered but have not participated. Send the recording and invite you to your next webinar.
You can also mark people in your e -mailing system based on the presence of the webinar. In this way, you can send e -mails more targeted in the future.
How do I deal with time zone differences for the global audience?
This is a common challenge when people from different countries and time zones take part.
The good news is that zoom automatically treats time zones. If you plan a meeting, this shows the right time for every person based on your location.
If people include the e -mail with the meeting, this shows the time in their local time zone. You don’t have to make a math to find out when you should participate.
I also recommend mentioning the time zone in your WordPress forms and e -mails. Say something like “Meeting begins at 2 p.m. Eastern Time” so that people know what to expect.
You can also create several meetings for different time zones. For example, carry the same webinar twice – once for Europe and once for Asia.
Many successful companies do this to do justice to their global audience. It takes more work, but it shows that they take care of all of their customers.
Last judgment: Is it worth connecting zoom with an eerie automator with WordPress?
Yes, this is the best way to bring your meetings and webinars from Zoom to your WordPress dashboard.
Setting up zoom integration with WordPress used to have great pain. I remember that I spent whole weekends to get everything right.
But now the entire process with an uncanny automotive last takes a maximum of an hour. You can automatically add people to your meetings and webinars without manual work.
Think about what this means for your company. No more copying and inserting e -mail addresses. No more forgotten registrations. No more frustrated customers who are waiting to make links.
In addition, their visitors receive a smooth, professional experience. You fill out a form and everything happens automatically. That is the type of service that builds trust and loyalty.
You can also scale this system so that your company grows. Add further meetings, only create membership access or set up purchase -based webinars. Automation treats everything.
I saw how customers of 10 hours a week were spent to meet the management of only 30 minutes. This is time that you can spend better content or expansion of your company.
I recommend the following next:
Start with simple automation. Either select the contact form for the meeting registration or the webinar setup. Let this work perfectly before adding more complexity.
First test everything thoroughly with your information. Make sure you receive all e -mails and appear in your zoom participant lists.
As soon as they are confident that it works, they promote it to your audience. Let people inform about their new automated meeting system. You will be amazed at how much this improves your business.
